The Story:
So how did the idea come about? Well, Steve was having a conversation with a US armed service veteran who was recalling his experience in WWII. As they spoke, Steve realized a couple of things: first, the experiences of the veteran should be archived for his friends, family and for everyone to absorb and learn from. Second, his stories evolved out of conversational feedback between the two of them, as opposed to just a linear story telling, which made the stories far more personal. From there the idea of creating the experience, inspiration and spontaneity of conversational feedback loops in the digital sphere was born into VYou.
